PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission tube capable of remarkably reducing a loss of light on its bent part. SOLUTION: Relating to the optical transmission tube 1 having a tube-like clad 3 and a solid-like core constituted of a material having a refractive index higher than that of the constitutional material of the clad 3, the rigidity of the core 2 is higher than that of the clad 3 and the core 2 is not stuck to the clad 3. When the tube 1 is bent, an air layer 4 is formed between the core 2 and the clad 3.
