PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease restrictions in terms of space or arrangement by forming a developer passing space in the bearing of a developer carrying member and discharging toner from the end in the axial direction of the developer carrying member of a carrying path forming member. SOLUTION: A space 12c made open to both ends in the axial direction is formed in a bearing 12 provided on a shaft on a downstream side in the toner carrying direction of a carrying screw 11 for carrying the toner removed by a cleaning device, and a tube facing to a developer storing part is attached to the leading end of a pipe on the downstream side in the toner carrying direction. Thus, the toner carried to the downstream side in the axial direction of the screw 11 passes through the space 12c, and is carried to the downstream side further and recovered to the developer storing part through the tube from the trailing end of the pipe. |
