PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant polyolefin resin composition excellent in extrusion moldability and hardly colored in compounding and extrusion molding while maintaining high flame retardancy without a halogen or phosphor. SOLUTION: Into a polyolefin resin are incorporated an inorganic filler such as metal hydrates, e.g. magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide and the like, and calcium carbonate and the like, and a reactive lubricant such as dimethyl polysiloxane, a compound obtained by copolymerizing maleic anhydride with a low mol.wt. ethylene polymer and the like. Here, the reactive lubricant denotes a compound of a mol.wt. of not more than 50,000 bearing in the molecule both a polar group highly compatible with a metal hydrate or an inorganic filler and a nonpolar paraffinic hydrocarbyl group highly compatible with a polyolefin.
