PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of a liquid crystal to the outside region of a sealing body by filling the outside region of the sealing body with liquid which is not soluble with the liquid crystal, then filling each liquid crystal display device with the liquid crystal and then removing the liquid. SOLUTION: Before each liquid crystal display device 2 on a source plate 1 is filled with a liquid crystal, the outside region of the sealing body 3 of each liquid crystal display device 2 between two transparent plates of the source plates 1 is filled with liquid such as water which is not soluble with the liquid crystal. After completing to fill the liquid, each liquid crystal display device 2 is filled with the liquid crystal and the injection port 4 of each liquid crystal display device 2 is sealed by applying a UV resin. By this method, in the process of filling the liquid crystal to the liquid crystal display device 2, intrusion of the liquid crystal to the outer region of the sealing body 3 of each liquid crystal display device 2 between two transparent plates of the source plates 1 can be prevented by preliminarily filling the liquid which is not soluble with the liquid crystal to that region.
