PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold optical fibers by preventing welded portions from being forked even if load acts on the extending direction of the optical fibers, to enable the prevention of an increase in light loss by preventing the damage of the exposed regions of the optical fibers and to prevent the degradation in optical characteristics. SOLUTION: A housing body 30 is provided with plural projecting members 40a to 40f for holding the welded portions 24 and is provided with columnar members 41a and 41b for setting the branching angle of the exposed regions of the optical fibers. A main body cover 31 is provided with columnar members projected with fixing projections, etc., for positioning and fixing the optical fibers 22 and 23 in their extension direction by biting into coating sheaths when the main body cover 31 is mounted at the housing body 30.
