<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PCI-bus adaptive extension board device which makes it possible to easily set an extension board in a personal computer body. SOLUTION: A rectangular adapter 4 is placed at the crossing long and short sides of the extension board 3 and a 2nd connector 4a is inserted to a connector 3a provided at a side edge part of the extension board 3. Then the extension board 3 fitted with the adapter 2 is inserted into an insertion slot 1b of the PC body 1 without removing the flank cover, etc., of the PC body 1 and the insertion-side tip of the adapter 4 is fitted in a guide groove 1c of the PC body 1. The extension board 3 is guided to the guide groove 1c of the PC body 1 and inserted into the PC body 1, the connector 4b of the adapter 4 is inserted into a slot 2 connected electrically to a bus for information transfer of the PC body 1, and the connector 3a of the extension board 3 is connected electrically to the slot 2 of the PC body 1 through the adapter 4.</p> |
