PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection performance for a tracking approach target, even when an antenna having a small bore size is used by a method, wherein a transmission radio frequency(RF) pulse signal is modulated at two phases, and a received signal is demodulated at two phases. SOLUTION: A random two-phase modulation signal generator 9b modulates a transmission RF pulse signal at two phase using a mixer 1g. The transmission RF signal, which is modulated at two phases, is amplified by a transmitter 2 and is irradiated from a monopulse antenna 4. Reception waves from a target and clatter are set as an intermediate frequency signal at a front end 5 and are output to a receiver 6. The receiver 6 has a sum signal correlator 6g and differential signal correlator 6h, which correlate the intermediate frequency signal according to a signal of a random two-phase demodulation signal generation 9C for demodulating the signal, which is modulated at two phases. At a distance for which a ground in the side lobe angel direction reflecting in a Doppler frequency region which is to become a search Doppler frequency, random two-phase demodulation control is conducted at a timing which cannot be correlated.
|
