PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent eccentric abrasion from generating between a piston body and a cylinder by positioning the bottom end angle of the body between an entrance and the vertex of a shoe pocket adjacent to the body side of the shoe pocket and by arranging a contact prevention means of the piston with the bottom end angle in the swash plate. SOLUTION: A recess 124 is formed in a bridge 122 in a cylinder-shaped piston 110 and a pair of semi-spherical shoes 128 is slidably arranged in a pair of shoe pockets 126 formed in the front/rear of the recess 124. The piston 110 is engaged with a swash plate through the shoes 128 and respective shoe pockets 126 and the piston 110 reciprocates in the cylinder bore by rotation of the swash plate. The inside angle and the vertex Q2 of the piston body are laid on the same line and the inside angle P of the piston is positioned between the entrance Q1 and the vertex Q2 of the shoe pocket. A concave is formed in the swash plate surface opposite to the piston body to prevent the contact of the piston with the bottom end angle.
