PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet waterproofing method which is free from any environmental pollution, safe and excellent in workability, and a novel waterproof sheet used therefor. SOLUTION: In a waterproofing method in which a waterproof sheet is installed on a substrate surface directly or through an insulation sheet, the waterproof sheet whose face and back sides are formed of sheets 1, 2 of a polymer material mainly consisting of olefin thermoplastic elastomer are used, and the waterproof sheet is fixed to the substrate surface or an upper surface of the insulation sheet. End parts of the waterproof sheet are fusion bonded with hot air.
