<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an aperture ratio of a liquid crystal display device and to provide a bright and high display quality liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: Gate wiring 3 is formed on one side substrate 1 consisting of glass and the other side substrate 2, and a gate insulation film 4 is piled on them. Then, a semiconductor layer is formed on the gate insulation film 4, and a TFT 5 as a switching element is formed. Further, ITOs electrically connected to the drain electrode of the TFT 5 are formed as pixel electrodes 6a, 6b. The ITOs are formed alternately with the pixel electrodes 6a, 6b as common electrodes 7a, 7b. Color filters 8 are formed on the common electrodes 7a, 7b. Further, light shield films 9 are formed as a light leakage measure between the pixel electrode 6a and the common electrode 7a and between the pixel electrode 6b and the common electrode 7b, the light leakage measure between source wiring or the gate wiring 3 and the pixel electrode 6a or 6b or the common electrode 7a or 7b and the measure for preventing a beam from irradiating on the semiconductor layer of the TFT 5.</p> |
