PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a precise and easy measurement automation without being influenced by a measurement disturbing material by covering a working electrode with a dialysis membrane when a stable voltage is added between the working electrode and a reference electrode to measure the concentration of a SH (sulhydryl) compound by the current generated by the reaction in the working electrode. SOLUTION: A kneaded mixture of powder graphite, paraffin oil, and cobalt phthalocyanine is filled in the tip recessed part 8 of a carbon paste electrode 7 to smooth the surface, and a dialysis membrane 9 is stuck thereto, covered with a nylon net 10, and fixed by an O-ring 11. Such a working electrode B covered with the dialysis membrane 9 and a comparative working electrode not covered with the dialysis membrane are dipped in a mixture of tris buffer solution, cysteine, glutathione, and uric acid, and the current value is measured under various voltages with a saturated calomel electrode as a target electrode while stirring the mixture by use of a magnetic rotator. According to this, the SH compound in a living body sample can be measured without being influenced by uric acid with zero base voltage. |
