PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make going up and down a gangway easier which is attached to a wall surface of a building for inspection purpose or the like and to store it compactly when not used. SOLUTION: This storage type gangway is equipped with a ladder portion 1 with a required length, a supporting member 2 which supports in a freely sliding manner in the longitudinal direction of the ladder portion 1 and also in a freely rotatable manner in a direction perpendicularly to a step bar 6 of the ladder 1 and is attached to an attaching position T of a building or the like, and fixing means 3 for fixing the ladder portion 1 at an arbitrary slide position, and the ladder portion 1 is slanted during the use and suspended upward during storage.
