The protection assembly which can run on the rail track constitutes a protection surface of the rail workers against atmospheric conditions. The assembly comprises two side protection barriers (5,6) and sound insulation plates (18a,18b). There are a protection canvas covers (19) on each side and over the top of the rail track.
