An inflatable dunnage bag comprising: An air-tight inflatable bladder; First and second sets of paper plies disposed upon opposite sides of the inflatable bladder, each of the first and second sets of paper plies comprising of a set of plurality of paper plies: At least one flap formed at one end of said first set of paper plies projecting beyond one end of the seconds set of paper plies so as to be capable of being folded over said inflatable bladder and thereby extended from the first to the second side of the inflatable bladder and secured to at least one of said second set of paper; Means for securing flap member of the first set of paper plies to a region of the second set of paper plies on the second side of the inflatable bladder so as to close and seal the dunnage bag; and Means for inflating the bladder fixed to the side of the bladder that is opposite to the side that the flap is secured.
