A thickened organic composition having a viscosity from 30-30,000 mPas comprising: a) 3-12% w/w pure hydrogen peroxide, b) one or more surfactants which can be anionic or non-ionic, c) 0.5-10% w/w associative thickening agent selected from low to medium molecular weight dialkyl polyglycol ether and a hydrophobically modified ethoxylated urethane. The composition is used for treatment of whitening fabrics.
