PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dye mixture having a high color yield by blending two types of azo dyes at a specific ratio. SOLUTION: One or more dyes of formula I are blended with one or more dyes of formula II or III at a molar ratio of 70:30-30:70. In the formulas, M is H, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal; Y1 is vinyl or ethyl in which theβposition is substd. with an alkali-eliminatable substituent; D is benzene or naphthalene; Z is a halopyrimidine, a dichloroquinoxalin or a halotriazine; Z0 is formula IV; R1 is H, chlorine, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkoxy or sulfo; R2 and R7 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy; R3-R5 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkoxy or sulfo; R is amino or a 1-4C (substd.) alkyl; RA and RB are each amino, a 1-4C alkyl, carboxy, sulfo, or a 1-4C alkyl with an SO2-Y3 substituent; and R6 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkoxy, hydroxyl, a halogen, carboxyl or cyano. |
