PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide composition capable of providing a monomer- cast nylon or a polyamide resin molded product excellent in lubrication, hardly causing a stick-slip phenomenon or the like, and also being homogeneous by compounding a specific wax and acid-modified wax in specific proportions, withε-caprolactam. SOLUTION: This polyamide composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt.ε- caprolactam, (B) 5-15 pts.wt., preferably 9-11 pts.wt. polyethylene wax having 110-140 deg.C softening point and 0.93-1.00 g/cm3, preferably 0.95-0.98 g/cm3 density at 23 deg.C, and (C) 0.1-2 pts.wt., preferably 0.8-1.2 pts.wt. modified wax modified by an acid or an alcohol (preferably the one having 100-130 deg.C softening point and 0.91-0.96 g/cm3 density). The monomer-cast nylon and the polyamide resin molded product can be obtained by heating the objective composition in the presence of an anionic polymerization catalyst and a cocatalyst to carry out the anionic polymerization of the component A. |
