PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge tile which is capable of firmly connecting the ridge tiles to each other, preventing the ridge tile from being shifted from each other, and improving the execution by increasing the ratio of the dry execution. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left side parts are extended from both sides of a center part to form a roof tile body 2, a fitting projecting part 8 is provided on one end face of the roof tile body 2, and a fitting groove part 7 which is fitted to a fitting projection 6 to prevent the horizontal shift of the roof tile body 2 is formed on the other end face of the roof tile body 2. The fitting projecting part 8 is provided on one end face of the center part of the roof tile body 2, and the fitting groove part 7 is preferably formed by recessing the other end face of the center part of the roof tile body 2 over the whole length of the roof tile body 2 in its thickness direction.
