PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for installation of a new drain pipe by connection the drain flow passage of a wash hand basin or the like provided on the position apart from a stool to the drain passage or the flushing water feed passage of the stool. SOLUTION: To a connecting device C connecting together a stool main body A and a drain pipe 100 buried on the building side, the drain pipe 102 of a wash hand basin or the like provided on the position apart from the stool is connected. Next, when siphon force in a trap is utilized for flushing the stool, the device C is provided with a branch connecting part 12 which can be connected to the drain pipe 102, and in the device C, a drain passage 14 for sewage from the wash hand basin is provided independently of the sewage passage 13 of the stool. Next, the opening part 16 of the drain passage 14 is provided on the face 15 connected to the drain pipe 100 buried on the building side which is not influenced from negative pressure due to the siphon force in the trap flow passage to prevent the sealing water of the drain pipe of the washhand basin from being cut. Hereby, at building a new building, a building side drain pipe work for the wash hand basin is made unnecessary. at refoming an existing stool drain pipe can be utilized, and the cost and the construction period can be reduced.
