PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the snow melting capability by burying a heat collecting vessel device in a bed, and connecting an oblique downward snow melting pipe and a piping part to the heat collecting vessel device. SOLUTION: A geothermal liquid separating vessel 2B is provided on the upper surface of a geothermal collecting well 2A and a snow melting pavement surface 8. An oblique downward snow melting pipe 3 is provided between a geothermal liquid storing chamber 2B6 and a cooling liquid reducing chamber 2B7 of the separating vessel 2B and on the pavement surface 8. Further, a first and a second pipe, 4A, 4B are drawn out of the storing chamber 2B6 and the reducing chamber 2B7. When scale or the like adheres to the inner wall of a convective circulation snow melting device to lower the snow melting capability, a valve 3A is closed, a first valve 4F between a pump P and the storing chamber 2B6 is opened, a second valve 4G between the pump P and a heat pump HP is closed, a third valve 4H between the pump HP and a connecting pipe 4D is closed, a pump water supply valve 4C1 is opened, a valve 4D1 is closed, and a draining pipe valve 4E1 is opened. Thus, snow melting capability can be improved.
