PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit fabric for molded car mats, capable of eliminating the problems of tufted fabrics having been used for car mats, capable of being freely molded along the floors of the cars, and further capable of being easily recycled, when the cars are scraped. SOLUTION: This knitted fabric for molded car mats is prepared by cutting pile yarns knitted over two warp knit fabrics at their centers to form two one side-raised knit fabrics, and then allowing an adhesive resin to thermally adhere to the counter-raised side surface of each of the obtained one side-raised knitted fabrics. The two warp knit fabrics are knitted of inserted yarns and yarns forming the chain knitted tissues by the use of a double Raschel machine.
