PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and the efficiency of drainage by forming a plurality of mutually adjacent water-conveyance sections in a shape that they are bent at a fixed angle, in a drain device draining water in the ground. SOLUTION: The drain device 1 is constituted by arranging a plurality of mutually adjacent water-conveyance sections 2, which are arranged in the ground and in which a large number of water-conveyance sections 6 are extended in one direction and formed in parallel, in a shape that the sections 2 are bent at a fixed angle. The water conveyance sections 2 are composed of tabular base materials 4 bent and formed so as to be alternately formed in irregular shapes and made of a resin or a metal and nonwoven fabrics 5 as water permeable members stuck on both surfaces of the tubular base materials 4, and structure, in which the water conveyance sections 6 are partitioned among a plurality of alternately placed recessed sections in the tabular base materials 4 and the nonwoven fabrics 5, is formed. Water in the ground is drained along the water conveyance sections 6 by a capillary phenomenon because of the small diameters of a large number of the formed water conveyance sections 6. Accordingly, workability, the efficiency of drainage and strength can be improved.
