PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the stand-by power of a photodetection part in an instrument having an infrared command photodetection part. SOLUTION: By intermittently supplying power source to an infrared photodetection part, the output voltage 1A of a battery 1 is turned on and off via a switching element 3 to be a pulse voltage 1B and supplied to the photodiode 4, resistor 5 of the infrared photodetection part and the light source of a band amplifier 6. The pulse voltage 1B is a pulse of OFF (0 V) for 900 ms out of 1 second and ON for 100 ms. A signal ground is 1C. The current is supplied for 100 ms to the infrared photodetection part, and for 100 ms, the infrared photodetection part becomes waiting state. In this way power consumption becomes 1/10 by intermittently supplying power source of the infrared photodetection part.
