PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging method of raw material into a blast furnace, by which a stable operation of the blast furnace can be executed. SOLUTION: In the raw material charging method for alternately charging the raw material and fuel in layers into the blast furnace, the mixture obtained by mixing agglomerate composed of solid reducing agent powder and ore powder, and coke, is charged into the center of the blast furnace through the separated route. The agglomerate of the solid reducing agent powder and the ore powder is in the range of through 100 mm screen to on 20 mm screen in the size thereof and >=50 kg/piece crushing strength, and the solid reducing agent powder of the agglomerate is coal powder, and the mixed ratio of the coal powder (WC) and the ore powder (WO) is 2-5 (WO)/(WC) in mass ratio, and mixed ratio of the agglomerate (WB) and the coke (WCO) is <3 (WO)/(WCO) in mass ratio.
