PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the temperature in an optical scanner constant and to prevent the fluctuation of an optical performance by making an air flow circulate in a housing in accordance with the rotation of an optical scanning part. SOLUTION: The housing for the optical scanner is divided into a 1st chamber, an optical scanning part including a polygon mirror 65 with a guide 200, and a 2nd chamber for storing an Fθ1 lens 66 and an Fθ2 lens 67, and the housing is provided with a partition 300. Laser diodes 61a to 61d, an finite lens, reflection mirrors 63a to 63d, half mirrors 64a to 64c and a cylinder lens are stored in the 1st chamber. The air flow generated in accordance with the rotation of the polygon mirror 65 passes through a laser light passing part between the polygon mirror 65 and the 2nd chamber and through a ventilation hole 100 formed between the 2nd chamber and the 1st chamber, and then, circulates toward the polygon mirror 65 along the guide 200. |
