<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively accurately reflect the amount of dioxin adsorption by evaluating the dioxin adsorption performance of an absorbent according to the degree of adsorption of a condensed ring compound that is adsorbed by the dioxin absorbent in a gaseous phase state. SOLUTION: In an evaluating device, constant temperature adsorption equipment 3 weighing and accommodating the dioxin alternative reagent and a dioxin adsorption agent of a condensed ring compound at accommodation parts 4 and 5 in a constant temperature bath 7 with a temperature-measuring device 6, thus setting the alternative reagent to a gaseous phase state in a constant temperature state for adsorption. More specifically, the evaluating device is maintained in the constant temperature state of a temperature being set to the boiling point or less of the alternative reagent and at the same time air is supplied from an air introduction pipe 1 for accelerating adsorption. The constant temperature state is continued for approximately five hours for adsorption and then the absorbent is taken out for weighing, and the amount of adsorption of the alternative reagent is obtained. Then, with the similar process also for dioxin, the correlation between the amount of alternative reagent adsorption and the amount of adsorption of dioxin is obtained. The dioxin adsorption capability of the adsorbent can be appropriately evaluated from the correlation relationship.</p> |
