PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device capable of securing high moving accuracy while controlling the moving extent of a moving member. SOLUTION: The driving device is provided with a driving source 2, a gear member 4 which is rotated by the driving source, a lead screw 5 which is rotated through the gear member, the moving member which is provided with a nut part 8 engaged with the lead screw and which is moved in a direction nearly parallel to the rotary shaft of the lead screw in accordance with the rotation of the lead screw, and a control means for controlling the lead screw so as to obtain a prescribed rotational amount. In this case, the control means is constituted of a 1st control gear member 11 which is engaged with the gear member and which is rotated in accordance with the rotation of the gear member, a 2nd control gear member 12 which is engaged with the gear member and which is rotated in accordance with the rotation of the gear member and having nearly the same rotational center as that of the 1st control gear member and having the number of tooth different from that of the 1st control gear member, and a phase control means for controlling the relative phase deviation between both control gear members, and which is caused when both control gear members are rotated in accordance with the rotation of the gear member, so as to be within the prescribed rotational amount of the lead screw.
