PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply and accurate method for testing the moisture movement characteristics of futon. SOLUTION: In this method for testing the moisture movement characteristics of futon, a sample case 20 is arranged above a water tank 10 containing water, and a wire netting is stretched on the bottom of a sample case 20. The weight W2 of a futon sample 40 housed in the sample case 20 is measured for a predetermined time, and the value of the weight W2 at the time when the weight W2 of the futon sample 40 takes a constant value is obtained to perform moisture absorption tests.
