PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stable machining work and satisfactory image quality by applying a lubricity imparting member on a cleaning blade tip part, the vicinity thereof, and the blade vicinity of a photoreceptor, and moreover setting a solid fluoro lubricity imparting member between a toner cleaning device and an electrostatic charging device. SOLUTION: As a means for reducing frictional resistance of a contact part between a photoreceptor 101 and a cleaning blade 106, a lubricity imparting member 201 is applied on the periphery of the blade tip part and/or including the photoreceptor 101, over the length for covering the image forming area. For the lubricity imparting member 201, either a powder or a liquid may be suitably used. In the case of a powdery lubricity imparting member 201, it is applied not only on the periphery of the blade, but also on the blade surface and the peripheral part on the photoreceptor surface held in contact with the blade. In the case of a liquid, it is applied centering a tip part of the blade. Moreover, between the toner cleaning device 106 and the electrostatic charging device 102, the solid fluoro lubricity imparting member 201 is arranged so as to coming into slidable contact with the photoreceptor 101.
