摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sliding part having high abrasion resistance and high strength by an easy machining. SOLUTION: Induction hardening is applied to a part excluding the periphery of the opening part 135 of an oil hole 130 on the surface of a sliding part 120. Therefore, induction hardening is not applied to an oil hole inside 137, the lowering of the strength of the oil hole 130 is prevented, and a boundary 145 between a part 140 that induction hardening is applied to and a part 150 that induction hardening is not applied to is formed on the surface of the sliding part 120 of a rotor that easily secures surface strength. Thereby, the boundary 145 is not formed in the oil hole inside 137, and tensile internal stress caused by the oil hole inside 137 is not also generated in the oil hole inside 137.
