PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image nearly free from background fog, in the non- magnetic one-component reversal developing method using a non-magnetic toner. SOLUTION: The non-magnetic one-component developing agent 3 is a positively electrifiable developing agent and used in the contact-type non-magnetic one-component reversal developing method, which is composed of supplying the developing agent to a developing role 5, forming a thin layer of the developing agent on the developing role by a controlling means 4 while imparting electric charge to the developing agent, then developing an electrostatic latent image by bringing into contact with a photosensitive body having the latent image and transferring the image to a sheet. In this developing agent, fine particles of aluminum hydroxide are stuck on the surface of a toner base body. |
