PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with which layouts to be outputted to mail bins are automatically unified. SOLUTION: The setting of a layout is carried out for each paper ejection tray (mail bin). When the layout has been already set for the mail bin which is specified by an external personal computer 3, information on the layout specified by a personal computer 3 is rendered ineffective. In the case paper runs out, image data edited in a layout to be outputted is stored into a memory, thereby using the memory effectively and shortening the outputting time. |
