PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing device capable of improving using feeling by attaining highly accurate focusing and improved quick-photographing. SOLUTION: As for the focusing device, the deviation amount and the deviation direction from the focal position of a photographic lens are obtained by a focus detecting part 1. The reliability of the focus detection results obtained by the focus detecting part 1 is decided by a reliability deciding part 2. And, the photographic lens is driven by a lens driving part 3 based on the output of the focus detecting part 1. And, the lens driving method of the lens driving part 3 is controlled by a control part 4 based on reliability information on the output of the focus detecting part 1. |
