<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce length in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A hole 11 that is formed on an end face 3B at the side of an input shaft 2 of an output shaft 3 is composed of an upper-stage hole 11A for fixing a cylindrical member 10, a middle-stage hole 11B for forming a stopper to be described later, and a lower-stage hole 11C for connecting a torsion bar 4 from the side of the end face 3B. The upper-stage hole 11A is provided with an inner-diameter dimension that is slightly larger than the outer-diameter dimension of the cylindrical member 10, a circumferential groove 11a that continues in a peripheral direction is formed at the part of a bottom (the boundary with the middle-stage hole 11B), the end part of the cylindrical member 10 is inserted into the upper-stage hole 11A, and then a tip at a side where the cylindrical member 10 is inserted is caulked in the direction for expanding diameter and is allowed to strike through the circumferential groove 11a, thus fixing the cylindrical member 10 into the upper-stage hole 11A and forming the cylindrical member 10 and the output shaft 3 in one piece in rotary and axial directions.</p> |
