<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a torque sensor for improving reliability and reducing manufacturing costs by simplifying a circuit configuration for detecting a torque and at the same time reducing the number of power supplies. SOLUTION: The inductance of a torque detection coil L of a sensor part 32 is used as the inductance of an LR oscillation circuit 22 and a signal with a period that is proportional to the above inductance is oscillated by the LR oscillation circuit 22. The signal waveform is shaped by a pulse-shaping circuit 23 and is outputted to a timer input 31a of a microcomputer 31 as a torque signal. Then, the microcomputer 31 calculates the period of the torque signal and calculates the torque corresponding to the period. The above configuration eliminates the need for a circuit for applying a sinusoidal wave to the torque detection coil L, a circuit for converting the torque signal from analog to digital, an exclusive power supply, and the like.</p> |
