PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a bicycle, which is excellent in anti-theft performance and operability, and can remarkably lengthen the life of a battery. SOLUTION: This lock device for a bicycle is so constructed that a transmitter 30 is provided with an unlock switch 32 operated in unlocking, an interval select switch 34 for switching the OFF time of intermittent operation of a receiving circuit of a receiving unit in two stages, and a sleep switch 36 for completely turning off the power supply of the receiving circuit and setting the CPU in the stop mode in the case where unlocking is not performed for a long time.
