PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method for foundation bolt setting template which assures safe, quick, high-efficiency work and makes auxiliary steel material for template to a minimum. SOLUTION: In a method of attaching a template for setting a foundation bolt for a main engine such as turbine, generator or the like constituting a plant, template-setting fittings 7 for setting the foundation bolt 4 is embedded in foundation base concrete in advance. By doing this, quick, high-efficiency work is assured, and safe and high-quality template auxiliary steel material used can be restricted to a minimum and construction time period for setting the foundation bolts can be greatly reduced.
