PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent measurement errors of the electrostatic capacitacity of based on the variation of the voltage impressed upon the capacitor. SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus 10 for capacitor has a power source 23 which impresses a voltage upon a capacitor W, a voltmeter 21 which measures the voltage impressed upon the capacitor W, and an ammeter 22 which measures the electric current flowing to the capacitor W. To the voltmeter 21 and ammeter 22, a capacitor measuring section 27, which measures the capacitance and electrostatic positive electrode of the capacitor W based on the voltage impressed upon the capacitor W and the current flowing to the capacitor W, is connected. A discriminating section 12 which discriminates whether or not the voltage has gone beyond its upper and lower limit values is connected to the voltmeter 21. When the discriminating section 12 discriminates that the voltage changes, an alarm is issued from an alarming section 12a.
