PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process capable of producing additive lenses which may be easily superposed on the lenses of spectacles by utilizing pins projecting from the lenses with high efficiency. SOLUTION: The prescribed positions at the side edges of the blank additive lenses obtained by molding of synthetic resins are bored with slits 11 of a specified size by a shearing device 2 which is formed with a positioning point and a punching toe 21b at one jaw 21 and a shearing port 22a at another jaw 22 intermeshably with each other. Eyelet pieces 3 are mounted into the slits 11 bored in the manner described above, by which the eyelets of the eyelet pieces 3 are engaged with the pins projected from the existing lenses of the spectacles. The additive lenses which may be superposed on the existing lenses are thus manufactured.
