摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell that can be formed thinly at a low cost without requiring special machining and can improve detection accuracy. SOLUTION: A load cell 1 is provided with a ring-shaped strain-generator 6. A distortion surface 6c that is in the same sectional shape is formed in the peripheral direction on the outer periphery surface of the strain-generator 6 so that it becomes a recessed surface in a curvature shape. A strain gauge 7 for detecting distortion according to compression force being applied to an upper surface 6a and a lower surface 6b of the strain-generator 6 are provided over an entire portion in a periphery direction at the bottom of the distortion surface 6c. A washer 4 for uniformly applying compression force due to the clamping axial force of a head bolt 3 to an upper surface 6a of the strain- generator 6 is included between a head part 3a and of the head bolt 3 and the strain-generator 6 and a washer 5 for uniformly applying compression force to the lower surface 6b of the strain-generating body 6 is included between the strain-generator 6 and the cylinder head 2.
