PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter in which a PTFE resin with strong resistance to chemical corrosion is used all around for measuring the quantity of flow of chemicals, etc. SOLUTION: By forming a housing 1 and flow bodies 3 and 4 out of a PTFE resin and fusing the flow bodies 3 and 4 together so as to be connected to the cavity 2 of the housing 1, nothing is corroded by chemicals, etc., flowing through the flow bodies 3 and 4 and the cavity 2. By providing a mounting cavity 5(a-c) with its end part formed in the vicinity of the cavity 2 and mounting an ultrasonic oscillator 7 adhered to a stainless ring 6 to the end part, it is possible to transmit and receive ultrasonic waves via the cavity 2 of the housing 1 and the flow body 3. In addition, since the stainless ring 6 is fixed via a PTFE resin cylindrical body 8 while tightening with a screw cap 9, no rattles occur in the ultrasonic oscillator 7. Furthermore, as the rotation of the cylindrical body 8 is halted by a withdrawal screw 12, it is possible to prevent the lead wires 10a and 10b of a cable 10 from being twisted and cut due to the rotation of the cylindrical body 8 at the time of the mounting of the screw cap 9.
