<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radar apparatus which reduces the establishment of an erroneous wake due to a false target or other targets and which shortens the time until a correct wake is established. SOLUTION: A reflection cross section calculation part 4 which calculates an effective reflection cross section RCSa and an effective reflection cross section RCSb on the basis of detected plot data PDa is installed. A target-speed setting part 5 which sets the movement speed (v) of an airplane on the basis of the effective relection cross section RCSa is installed. A correlation-gate calculation part 6 in which the movement amount up to the next scan of a target of detected plot data PDb is estimated on the basis of the movement speed (v) and which calculates and generates a correlation gate CRG is installed. A target judgment part 7 in which whether the possibility of the erroneous target of its plot is judged on the basis of the effective reflection cross section RCSb is installed. In a wake-establishment processing part 8, a wake is established when the possibility of the erroneous target does not exist and only when a correlation with first detection plot data FPD is established. The establishment of the wake is reserved in other cases. The plot data are retained as first detection plot data.</p> |
