PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an adverse influence of dust on instruments of a shooting training apparatus, and prolong the life by preventing the instruments from being shot. SOLUTION: The present apparatus mainly comprises an impact position detector 2 for displaying an impact position of a ball cartridge on a screen 3, an impact position detector cartridge stop bank 4 for protecting the impact area detector 2 from cartridge reflection damage, a projector 12 for projecting a target image onto the screen 3 slantingly downwardly, a projector casing 5 for containing the projector, a shielding curtain 7 for shielding shock waves from an adjacent shooting lane such that the shock wave is prevented from invading the impact position detector 2, and a total cartridge stop bank 9 for protecting the impact position detector 2 and the projector from a direct hit.
