PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component parts of a faucet, improve productivity of it, and set an installation condition of an operation part for the faucet robust while improving appearance of the faucet by composing an installation structure of the operation part for the faucet by caulking or adhesion. SOLUTION: This installation structure is provided for installing an operation part 30 for a faucet onto an operation shaft 20 provided between that and a valve element 50. In this case, one of an installation part 3B of the operation part 30 for the faucet and a counter part 26 of the operation shaft 20 is inserted into the other, and the other is caulked toward one side, so the operation part 30 for the faucet is fixed to the operation shaft 20. Otherwise, the operation part 30 for the faucet is adhered to the operation shaft 20 to fix the operation part 30 for the faucet to the operation shaft 20.
