The actuator has a rod for moving a unit towards one of two end positions and a restoring elastic arrangement acting towards the other end position. A control arrangement contg. an electric motor is connected via the rod to the actuator, whereby each instantaneous position of the rod is fixed by the control arrangement independently of the elastic restoring arrangement. The motor is connected to the rod via a connection (51,61) in the form of a reduction gearbox in a reversible arrangement. The connection interacts with so-called irreversibility arrangement (100) that can make the connection irreversible at least in the second end position.
