APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING DEFROSTING IN REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent the temperature in a refrigerating chamber from rising by controlling a cooling fan based on the detected temperature of a temperature sensor, external air and the opening frequency of a door. CONSTITUTION: A fixed temperature of a refrigerating chamber is maintained by the steps of: normally working a refrigerator if a data of temperature in a cooler is higher than the set temperature, or generating a first control signal(C1) to drive a defrosting heater; generating a second control signal(C2) to drive a cooling fan on the basis of the data about temperature in a refrigerating chamber, external air and opening frequency of a door; driving the cooling fan until the data is equalized with the set temperature if the data is higher than the set range; and stopping the cooling fan if the data is equalized with the set temperature range.
