Use of liquid hydrocarbon, alcohol, ester or ketone solvents in removing dust from bleaching or dyeing powders or pastes for use on human hair

Use is claimed of hydrocarbon, alcohol, ester or ketone solvents liquid at 25 deg C in removing dust from bleaching powders and powdered dye mixtures containing conventional cosmetic ingredients. Independent claims are also included for (i) powder- or paste-form hair bleaching agents containing solid peroxo compounds and solid alkali carriers; and (ii) direct dye- and/or oxidation dye precursor-containing powders for dyeing or tinting hair, each of (i) and (ii) further containing one of the above solvents as dust removers.
