<p>An information recorded medium from which data can be correctly reproduced according to only a normal READ command by an information reproducing device of which the servo tends to be unstable in an unrecorded area without providing a physical area in a volume space by acquiring the maximum address of an area from which data can be reproduced by an optical disk drive. Address information (181) on the addresses of a maintenance information area (111) assigned to the first overrun extent in a volume space is recorded in a read-in area (101) readable by an optical disk drive. When a disk is loaded in the information reproducing device, the address information included in the first maintenance information in the volume area is recorded in the read-in area, and the information reproducing device acquires the maximum address of an area from which data can be reproduced by searching for the maintenance information, thereby preventing the optical disk drive from accessing an unrecorded area.</p> |
