<p>A golf club (10) with overawing alerting mechanism (20) is provided which produces an audible sound upon the occurrence of an overawing condition. In this golf club (10), the overawing alerting mechanism (20) is housed entirely within the hollow opening (14) of the golf club shaft (12). This overawing alerting mechanism (20) includes a sound generation assembly (22) for generating an audible sound upon occurrence of the overawing condition; a generation member (26) to provide electrical energy to the sound generation assembly (22) and a circuit closing member (30) which closes the electrical circuit between the energy generation member (26) and the sound generation assembly (22) only upon the occurrence of an overawing condition.</p> |
