PURPOSE: A transmitter is provided to improve synchronization by providing at least 2L diversities over time and a space and to balance power over a multi-antenna without an additional transit power or bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter circuit receives a pilot symbol, a TPC symbol, an RI symbol, a data symbol on each lead(100,102,103,106), and each symbol is encoded by each STTD(Space Time Transit Diversity). Each STTD encoder generates two output signals supplied to a multiplex circuit(120), and the multiplex circuit generates each encoded symbol within the symbol time of each frame. Thereby, a serial sequence symbol in each frame is simultaneously supplied to each multiplication circuit(124,126), and a single signal is supplied to a designated receiver since a channel vertically crossing code Cm is multiplied to each symbol. Then the STTD encoded frame is supplied to antennas(128,130) for transmission.
